This past Saturday, Lesley and I had the chance to go to the Paramount Pictures lot for the LA Times event, Dinner with a Twist. If you care to see this schedule, you can see that they had more than 40 Southern California restaurants and more than 50 alcohol companies present. It was a massive event with about 2000 attendees. We tasted everything from grilled octopus to vegan pork, from slowly roasted ribs to flayed shrimp and from macaroons to tequila and gin. It was a lot of walking, but a great time.
