“Aha!,” LL exclaimed as we exited the hotel. She had finally spotted another roasted banana/plantain street vendor. Clearly, this was starting off the morning in the right direction 😀

LL had also found this tiny vintage shop while surfing the net, so we made our way over. I scored a pair of red dress shoes made in NYC – looks like they’re on their way back to the States… They have a great three store combo going on in this really neat shopping plaza, and they have a Facebook page if you want to check them out here.

Then we found this ‘Alice In Wonderland’ cake-pop shop called, “Perhaps Rabbit.” Unbelievable attention to detail! (And no, LL didn’t eat Darth Vader… But I did!)

Somehow, swings keep making their way into our trip.

And, as you can see, everyone rides a moped or motorcycle in Bangkok, so we just had to take a moped taxi ride. While there were a few harrowing moments, it was quite exhilarating. If you want to see the 5 minute video I shot of us careening through traffic and dogging busses, just let me know…

Some random pics we snagged of golden elephants and some of the architecture.

Before heading back to The Muse to grab our bags on the way to DMK airport, we took a walk through a park. It was a wild one!
