After an incredible full week of work-for-them, work-for-me and spring cleaning, we have a back patio that is really fun to spend time in — something I’d always wanted for myself, but never actually pulled off in any other place I’ve lived.
After 48′ of outdoor string lighting, a host of new furniture and a brand new grill, we hosted our first dinner party this past Friday night, but not before I (Brad) tried the grill on Thursday night (never can be too prepared!)
Tonight’s menu? Grilled lamb burgers, sautéed zucchini and a dash of Brad’s carrot concoction, (sweet BBQ carrot/mushroom — comment below and I’ll send you the recipe). And whiskey. Lots of whiskey.
